COVID-19 Pet Food Assistance: You Can Now Donate or Apply for SPCA’s Support Programme

It’s no secret that COVID-19 has affected us greatly, yet some of us have little (furry) mouths to feed in addition to ourselves and our two-legged family. To help these needy pet owners, community cat and dog caregivers, and animal rescuers who may be struggling to pay for pet food, SPCA has collaborated with Kohepets, Hill’s, and KC & Watson to launch a COVID-19 Pet Food Support Programme!

An initial sum of $50,000 has been put in by the SPCA to kickstart this short-term relief programme, but those who wish to aid in the relief may donate here and choose if you’d like to help a small animal, cat, or dog. Every dollar raised will be used to purchase pet food for those in need, and the pet food will be delivered to the homes of the participants.

As of now, the programme is expected to run for 3 to 6 months, but SPCA has announced that this will be reassessed based on the demand from the community. If you or any animal caregiver around you require pet food assistance during this period, simply fill in this form to apply for the pet food support programme

Note: Those unable to apply online can reach out to the SPCA at foodsupport@spca.org.sg or call 6287 5355, from 9AM to 4PM daily. More information on the COVID-19 Pet Food Support Programme can be found in the application form.
