Today, we see that humans aren’t the only ones that can form a bond and include animals into their families. Because of their ability to love and care for others, several species of animals have been known to take in and care for pets of their own. Here are 5 animals that have been raised by another species.

Rosie the Cat

Despite the apparent difference, Rosie the cat is now living her best life with a pack of Siberian Huskies. The previously malnourished feline made a miraculous recovery when Lilo, leader of the Husky pack, took on a maternal role and nursed Rosie back to life.

Developing a strong bond, Rosie grew mimicking the actions of Lilo and according to her owers, shows the traits of a husky such as going on hikes and, unlike most cats, proves to be fearless and unafraid of water.

Tally the Husky

The tale of Tally is the complete reverse of Rosie the cat. While it may look exactly like a Husky, Tally is like a cat stuck in a dog’s body. According to Tally’s owners, the canine is just like any cat. From hiding in boxes to staring out the window to sitting with her paws tucked in, Tally does it all.

Even though Tally lives in a feline-free environment, it’s believed that Tally behaves like a cat because she was raised by cats at her previous owners’ place. Unfortunately, there are no images or videos of Tally with her feline family for us to gush over.

Bluebell the Rabbit

A giant bunny who believes that its a dog, the rescued rabbit is said to come when its called, waits by the door for its owner and even sleeps in her own dog bed.

Bluebell’s owner her canine-like behaviour to the six Yorkshire Terriers that it grew up with before her rescue. The rabbit’s firm belief of being a canine has even seen it through confrontations with other canines!

Ransom the Golden Retriever

Ransom the Golden Retriever is unlike every other canine, with a deer for a mum. Amy is a deer that lives in an animal ranch that houses a variety of animals.

When Ransom, the visually impaired pup was taken in, Amy immediately took to him and filled in the maternal position in Ransom’s life. Amy cares for, plays and guides Ransom through the world that he can’t see with patience and compassion only that a mother is capable of.

These unlikely friendships, bond and affection animals have for one another proves that we are truly blessed to be on the receiving end of this love from our own pets.
